To quote play-by-play commentator Frank Graham, Tre Mercer can be described in

one word: "explosive." Midwest-born and bred, there's no better example of determination and perseverance than "The Coach" himself. Prior to entering the world of professional wrestling, Mercer has been competing for virtually his entire life, whether that be in the weight room as a pro powerlifter or on the gridiron

as a Heisman-level nose tackle for the Fighting Illini.

But once he found the wrestling bug, he never looked back and in recent years,

the Peoria native has turned heads and made headlines by amassing victories and championship wins around the globe thanks to his drive and determination.

A student of various styles of wrestling (Greco-Roman, British Catch-As-Catch-Can),

Mercer quickly garnered the moniker "The Coach" not only due to his quick-learning of new in-ring practices and aptitude for displaying new skills in the ring. It's for the fact that he would often arrive early to shows and hang around after to give other wrestlers tips and tricks to make their amateur wrestling sequences

and submission holds look more legitimate.

Since making his Season 1 debut in SWW, the two-time All-American football player and accomplished amateur wrestling & powerlifting champion has been adamant in making sure everyone is put to work in the squared circle, whether that be through brass words or as he would put it, "stepping into his office and checking the tape." With that description, it's no surprise he was able to dethrone the longest-reigning SWW Starlight Champion Ragnarok at "Into the Void" and claim the championship as his first on the green brand. Many would be satisfied with that feat alone,

but no... not our "coach."  In fact, this is just the beginning for him.

What lies ahead for him?  Well, just expect... the Inevitable.
