Interview with The Sacred Empress
Akira Yukimura
January 21, 2021

COLE: Welcome SWW Universe to another exclusive interview here on the SWW website! This time I’m in the presence of the Sacred Empress, Akira Yukimura! Akira it’s good to see you here in SWW. How does it feel to be a part of the SWW Roster?
AKIRA: Surprised would be an understatement. But do not get me wrong. I am happy to be a part of this growing roster. I have traveled all over the world, and while a lot on this roster may not know a lot about myself, or my family lineage, I hope that soon, I will have the chance to further introduce myself properly to Supremacy World Wrestling.
COLE: Now that you’re here in SWW, what can we expect from you?
AKIRA: The same thing that everyone expects from me when I enter a company. I continue to establish my legacy. And if that means winning titles along the way, or having the chance to compete against some of the best in the world, then that is what I will do.
COLE: Are there any competitors you have your eyes on?
AKIRA: When it comes to in-ring wise, there are two that I am looking at so far. One, is Codie Hale. We have been in several companies together, but have never stood across the ring from one another. I would love the chance to face her and test our individual skills. But the other one...is Ashba. She calls herself “The Queen of Obscene”. But what is a queen to an empress? Is she considered one of the best in the world? Yes. Do some see her as a legend? Perhaps. But I will never bow to her. She doesn’t intimidate me. She doesn’t scare me. But I’ll be happy to show her why she should be very afraid of me...
COLE: Are there any competitors you think are worthy of joining your dynasty?
AKIRA: I wouldn’t say that there are people that are “worthy”. However, if there were any members of the SWW roster that I would like to take in, for lack of a better term, I would consider Hiromi. I have seen her work in the ring, and while there is potential, I can tell that she doesn’t quite know how to harness it. However, I am also showing Shiori what she needs to grow. She has been a very quick learner. And I can help Hiromi as well. Of course, the decision would be up to her. But I am open to it if she is.
COLE: Can we expect to see you chase after the women’s title in the future?
AKIRA: That is the bigger goal in the end. I know that I obviously can’t challenge for the title right away, but I know that eventually, I will have my chance. And when I do, I’ll only need one shot. Especially if it’s Madison Tilly. She walks around acting so entitled, as if the world should be handed to her. But after all that I’ve seen in my past...the darkness that has engulfed my heart...she doesn’t know the meaning of the word “suffer”. And whether it’s her, or someone else...It won’t matter. Because in the end, that championship will be mine.
